The cash for clunkers program that was running for awhile is no longer available, but you can find dealers that still offer klunkers for cash. This is ideal for someone that doesn’t have any money for a down payment but needs a more dependable car. They can either take the donation of a clunker car and use it, or trade the vehicle itself. Either way you do it, the dealership will require that you purchase off their lot.
